I was recently doing research for an article I wanted to write for this blog about the Koch brothers.  There flagrant attempts to buy national elections, and the Republican party to boot, tick me off to no end.  While doing this research I came across an article in Rolling Stone magazine which not only covered the Koch brothers’ attempts to buy government influence, it also chronicled in gory detail their unsavory and often illegal “profits first and everything else be damned” business practices which allowed them to accumulate their mufti-billion dollar net worth.

As I mentioned the article is very detailed and it very well written.  Hundreds of hours of research must have gone into.  It said what I wanted to say far better than I ever could so I decided to simply provide you with the link and let you read it for yourself.   I must warn you, however, that it is somewhat long, but even if you read just a section of it you will come away with a much better understanding of the dark souls who are trying to use their boundless wealth to try to transform our country’s government into their private puppet show.  If you don’t like the Koch brothers now, I guarantee that you will hate them after reading this article.
