According to NPR: Ruth Bader Ginsburg died Friday at age 87 from complications of cancer. In a statement dictated to her granddaughter Clara Spera days before her death, she said, “My most fervent wish is that I will not be replaced until a new President is installed.”
When I heard my entire body along with my entire spirit felt weak. God bless her she was a fighter and held out as long as she possibly could. What a great loss for this country and the goal of equal treatment for all.
I know I should be concentrating on the loss, but I can’t help but wondering, will Senate Democrats be able to hold up the reappointment until after the election.
