The Trump administration is using fear to sell their ban on refugees the US from seven Muslim countries. Using fear as a tool to move public opinion in the direction preferred by government is hardly a new tactic. Hermann Goering, the notorious Nazi leader, once said: “. . . . the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same way in any country.”
Every year approximate 37,000 people get killed in automobile accidents and almost 13,000 are killed by guns. However, since the 9/11 attacks an average of 9 people a year have been killed Muslim terrorists and none of those terrorist were allowed into the country as refugees. In fact, none of those terrorists were from the seven countries banned in Trumps executive order.
Experts calculate that the chances of being killed by a refugee turned terrorist is 3.6 Billion to one. Your chances of being struck by lightning in any given year is 1 in 960,000. So shouldn’t we be 3,750 times more concerned about being concerned about being struck by lighting than being killed by a refugee.
My conclusion: If refugees scare you so much that you would support not allowing them to come to into the US, you are a real coward.

Considering that Trump got almost sixty three million votes I think that calling them all cowards is foolish and reckless.
We will need at least a number of those voters on our side if we are serious about standing up to this cowardly dictatorial imbecile.
Actually Doubledee, we (Hillary) had almost 3 million votes more than Trump. I am sure that not all of Trump’s voters were inspired to vote for him because they feared terrorist attacks. I know a number that were only concerned about his Supreme Court Justice pick. But whatever, if they are concerned about terrorist attacks from the 7 banned countries, they are either easily mis-lead or cowards.
