Do the cable news network like CNN not understand that many people change the channel when Kellyanne Conway makes an appearance and sometimes they don’t bother to change it back after they think she may be gone? Watching that woman spin like a top is only mildly less annoying than listening to Trump tell us how great his is.
How does Trump expect to be reelected by catering only to his base of perhaps 35% of the voters plus Republicans who would tell pollsters that they approved of the job being done by Satan if he were the Republican president?
Microsoft Office should adopt Googles spell checking algorithms. Every time I type out a word that I don’t know how to spell, and I fail in my sad attempt to at least get the spelling close enough for Word spellchecker to recognize it and provide the correct spelling, I turn to Google. When I enter the same poorly spelled word into the Google search engine, it usually suggests the correct spelling. If that doesn’t work, all you have to do is give Google a little context. For instance, if I am trying to correctly spell the name of an athlete, entering your poorly spelled attempt of the name into Google along with a phrase such as “football player” usually does the trick. Word spellchecker is clueless when it comes to using context.
Trump talking about unifying the country and bipartisanship during the State of the Union address is like Dracula promising himself to give up blood for his New Year’s resolution.
That was the worst set of Super Bowl commercials in history, but only slightly worst than the half time show. (I never heard of either performer and hope I never do again.) Every year I like watching the Super Bowl commercials because they are usually very entertaining. Heck at $5 million a pop, they had better be, but this year they were mostly fails. (Does anyone give a flip that Bud Light doesn’t have corn syrup in it? Any corn syrup in the beer would have been turned into alcohol during the brewing process anyway.) In my humble opinion, the best commercial featured the Budweiser Clydesdales – no surprise there.
I just saw the movie, On the Basis of Sex” about the young life for Ruth Bader Ginsburg and here fight for equality for women. An excellent movie and well worth the price of admission. Which reminds me, AMC theaters has an excellent deal where they charge their AMC Stubs members (there is no cost to join) $5 per person on Tuesdays to watch any of their movies. Excellent deal!
