In his arrogance and narcissism, Trump been abusing his power as the nation’s chief executive officer for personal gain. and ultimately he should be and will be impeached. However, we all know that the chances that enough Republicans who will put country and above their political well being are slim and none. We will still have to take him out at the ballot box.
However what this man has put us through in his efforts to totally destroy this country, he must not just lose, he must be humiliated! He cannot be afforded the luxury of claiming that he was robbed after losing by a few percentage points, as he is guaranteed to do under those circumstances. He must be beaten as only the worst president in American history can be.
At this point it a appears that we need a Democratic nominee who can garner the votes of factory workers in the mid-West who voted for Trump in the last election. Remember why we loss Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania. Right now we a nominee who can also the appeal to Republican suburban housewives who voted for Democratic House candidates in Purple and Red states in 2018 . Currently it also appears that we need a Democratic nominee who is not is not regarded as political poison by the establishment Republicans who have grown exhausted with Trump’s betrayal of our closest allies and his embracing of our enemies and anti-democracy strong men.
However, in the course of the long campaign, things can change drastically and eventually the Democratic candidate who will be best position to beat Trump may be one with big plans which have the potential to totally change how our government interacts with the American people.
It matters not to me. When it is time to vote in my state Democratic primary I will support for the candidate who is most likely to humiliate Trump at the ballot box. I hope you will do the same. He not only has to lose – he must be destroyed by our votes! He must be totally repudiated by the American people!
Of course, you can be sure that Trump will do everything he can to bring down the Democratic nominee who the current polls show to be most capable to beating him soundly in the general election. Again, that may not be the same person as we proceed through the election cycle. The bullseye on Trump’s Twitter feed may shift if the political situation changes.
