I am sick and tired of those who would make excuses for their friends who are planning to vote for Jill Stein be cause “they must be true to their progressive values”.

What is the most important principle of progressives?

I would argue sincerely the most important principle of the movement is that progressives must be willing to take up the cause and defend those who are unable to fend for themselves. Much of everything else that we are or claim to be stems from that.

So tell me how any true progressive not do everything in his/her power to keep Donald Trump from assuming the most powerful position in this country. Please don’t tell me those who plan to vote for Stein “are voting their conscience”.  I would reply that they need to be honest with themselves and spend more time examining their conscience.
